It is common to find top riders at in countries such as the United States, Germany or France. These are countries with a long equestrian tradition and whose large size allows them, even just by simple probability, to position riders at the top of official rankings But at Saddlebox we wanted to analyze if these countries really are "efficient" in the generation of star riders ... Let's take the TOP50 of the FEI Ranking of horse jumping and dressage and play with the numbers, to see if we find any surprise ... what do you think is the most "efficient" country? Keep reading and hallucinating with the result of our analysis. If we group by the number of riders of each country in the two disciplines, we obtain the following numbers:

Apparently, after this quick analysis, it seems that France, the United States and Belgium dominate the TOP50 of jumping and that Germany races in the TOP50 of dressage. But, what if we consider the population of each of these countries? Do they have a higher proportion of riders in the TOP50? This is the population expected for the year 2018 of the countries that appear in both listings
:
Country | Population |
AUS | 24.764.000 |
