The biggest equestrian event in Spain and one of the highest level in the international equestrian world will join in a single venue more than 20 eye-catching sport competitions in a unique environment. Furthermore, Madrid Horse Week offers a complete set of leisure activities in which sport and spectacle alternate during four days full of activities to all public.
All in all, nine contest sessions will be offered with more than 20 events and enxhibitions in the main court – during day and night – with an allocation of more than € 500.000 in prizes. Madrid Horse Week’s contests will be broadcasted through more than 70 channels worldwide with more than 2.800 broadcasts and approximately around 1.400 hours of retransmissions. Mutua Madrileña Grand Prix - Jumping World Cup: Longines FEI World Cup Jumping is one of the most prestigious individual equestrian events in the world, in which the best riders of the world ranking participate. This year, Madrid Horse Week will offer the final, sponsored by Mutua Madrileña, on the day of Saturday, November 23.
Vaulting World Cup: Madrid being one of the scoring events for this prestigious competition in which the best international vaulters participate.
CSI2*: International Jumping Competition 2 * to be held during the 4 days of the Event. Riders of different nationalities come to compete in this great event. It has a prize of € 46,000.
CDI5 *: International Dressage Competition 5 * with the participation of important riders from all over the World, who have competed in World Cups and in the Olympic Games. For the first time, Madrid Horse Week reaches the category 5 * in this discipline, increasing the number of prizes and the difficulty, in order to become the seat of the Dressage World Cup in the next edition. It has a prize of € 20,000.
Cowboys Masters Cup: To further extend its multidisciplinary character, Madrid Horse Week includes a Doma Vaquera competition for the first time in its history. In collaboration with the Doma Vaquera Club of Madrid, the Organizing Committee of Madrid Horse Week has created the 'Masters of the Cowboy' Cup, a new competition consisting of a preliminary phase of seven scoring events - held from May to October in different localities of Spain-. The 10 best riders of this league will compete in Madrid Horse Week the grand final of the 'Masters of the Cowboy' Cup.
